We absolutely loved our experience at Pastanaga! It was a TEN! The food was perfect, our waiter was incredible and the atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable. We felt right at home in this beautiful place that felt more like going to a friends home than a restaurant- so quaint, so small and private. We enjoyed fish soup, bread and butter, exquisite meals (fish, tuna beef stew special, poultry pie and beef stroganoff) and dessert! We took our time and even enjoyed a game of chess while sipping our dessert port wine! Soup to wine- it was perfect. Thank you for such a fantastic dining experience! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️- Comida

We had a fantastic dinner here: great service, lovely food and wine choices. My partner was at home unwell so it was my sister in law and me, and we were treated to a generous and genuine night. The owner came out and when she heard my wife was sick, brought out a cake/dessert to take home! I had the best tuna steak I have ever had! Please go

An absolute gem in Lisbon! ✨ From start to finish, our evening at Pastanaga was nothing short of perfect — warm hospitality, beautiful ambiance, and food that speaks straight to the heart. 💛🍷
🔸 What we loved:
• The service was outstanding: attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly welcome.
• Cocktails were amazing: we tried the Negroni 🍸 and the Todayuni Cocktail 🍹, both expertly crafted and full of flavor.
• The Fish Soup 🐟🍲, Shrimps with Garlic 🦐, and the beautiful Duck Filet with rice🦆 were all cooked to perfection, tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
• Everything tasted fresh and made with care. ❤️
This is the kind of place that makes you want to linger longer just to soak in the atmosphere. If you’re in Lisbon, Pastanaga is a must-visit, we’ll definitely be back! 🌟

Every detail is curated to perfection, and this restaurant offers a perfect blend between Nordic cuisine and Portuguese tradition. The cherry on top was the chef making an appearance to explain her recipes and give us some insight on where some of the food is sourced. The garlic shrimp starter was so rich in flavor. The beef stroganoff was super unique, unlike traditional stroganoff with that brown cream sauce. And the presentation of the tuna steak was impressive. Great experience all around. And very happy we got to sit outside, the people watching while sipping some wine and enjoying your meal is quintessential Lisbon.

My wife and I dropped in here for a meal. Wow! What an experience. Great meal and wine pairing suggestions by the waitress. We enjoyed the cod fish in a cream sauce and the octopus accompanied by a wonderful cabernet Sauvignon. The owner/chef even dropped by our table to check on us. Overall, this was an amazing dining experience, I would defienly recommend this restaurant and return.

Three of us were there last night for dinner. It was SUPERB!!! To start, we ordered a white wine, there were 3 whites on the menu and the server allowed all of us to taste all 3 wines before we made a decision. The chef came over before food and explained some of menu items including a new special dish of the day (Osso buck) which she had spent many perfecting the spice profile. We ordered the stroganoff, the classic cod and the special lamb osso buco. Each meal was outstanding. Dessert was a red berry chocolate soufflé and cherry liqueur chocolate soufflé. Again, outstanding. We can't say enough about this restaurant. Sorry, no photos but other photos from reviews look accurate. Chef said she uses no salt, but the food was perfectly seasoned. Food was amazing! Every dish we tried was so flavorful! From the starters to the dessert! We got to meet the chef, such a wonderful woman. The staff was very nice, they speak English/Spanish which made it easier for us to understand the dishes. Highly recommend!

We had the duck rice and special beef soup which was outstanding! The owner also served the dishes with a homemade chilly sauce and we loved it! The special beef soup was a dish that the owner made the last Sunday for her elderly mom. My husband and son just loved it! Will definitely come again next time!

Incredible food representing a wide variety of cuisines. The owner was very nice and came personally to tables. She has integrated foods from all over the world with her own twist due to her travels and her job as a chef for several embassies. We loved our dinner here and this restaurant deserves all the praise!

Delightful dinner. Everything we had was delicious. The ambiance was lovely. It was a breath of fresh air all the lovely foods the offered. We loved the wine list and the chocolate dessert was amazing. Especially when it is served with the most adorable tiny port cordial glasses.

Perfect service by excellent people, first class treatment. Food was delicious and prepared with love and care. Nice cocktails served with complimentary tiny bite of the day, very lovely. Starters and mains were carefully prepared and were generous portions. Unique restaurant worth a visit. Two dining rooms across the street from each other.

The food was unique and excellent. We loved every bite. From good wine / cocktail and interesting mini aubergines to carrot soup to our flavorful fish and rice main and “adult” ice cream, we were delighted with all of it. The restaurant has an intimate, lovey ambiance. We were so glad we discovered it.

The food was amazing, very attentive service, high quality ingredients, the Duck rice was delicious, so were the mini aubergines with feta. The berry pie was to die for as a dessert, so definitely recommend this place!
